“Perhaps I am stronger than I think” ~ Thomas Merton

Hi! Welcome to my little piece of the internet. Since you clicked on this page, I bet you’re wondering, “And just who are you, anyway?”

Well, my name’s Jeff Schorr (pronounced like “shore”) and I’m just a regular guy. Scratch that – I was just a regular guy. That is, until I found out I was strong. That I was resilient. That I was more than I thought I could be. Since then, I’ve been on a journey to find out just what my limits are. I’ve found that I can dream big – and achieve big.

The picture above was taken 26.2 miles from the starting line of the 2010 Chicago Marathon. I’d always said I wanted to do the impossible – complete a marathon. At the age of 28, I did. This accomplishment set me free – it showed me I was made of sterner stuff than I even dreamed. And guess what? So are YOU.

My hope is that in this blog something you read or see will help you discover the strength inside of you. And once you find it, you’ll help someone else do the same. Together we can build a better world – one person at a time!

Thank you for coming by. If what you find here doesn’t resonate with you, find someone whose voice does. We live in an age of unbounded communication and we all have an equal say, if we want it. I’ve listed several other blogs that continue to inspire me in the Blogroll on the right.

With respect and hope,

  • Great Story!!! Success along the weigh sent me here!!
